Etere Subtitling and Closed Caption Software is a digital platform for creating, managing, burning, playout, and converting subtitles, captions, and other text services for production, post-production and live shows. The Subtitle Management software allows broadcasters to create subtitles for video in multi-languages and multi-platforms, search by metadata, and streamline the process with real-time sharing of edits without hardware. Operators can insert live, open, and closed captions, including ARIB and Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) via ETX inserter.
Etere MOS connection supports teleprompter and provides seamless integration with the newsroom. For live subtitling, the Etere MOS connector connects with NCS Server to receive rundowns and import subtitles from the rundown directly with extremely fast speed and accuracy. Etere also supports an FTP connection to the newsroom for live news. For complete management, Etere Subtitling and Closed Caption Software make it easy for broadcasters to monitor and verify all captions to comply with international broadcasting laws. Etere Subtitling and Closed Caption Software supports all formats and frame rates. Etere MAM includes live captioning capabilities that quickly deliver highly accurate subtitles to the Closed Caption (CC) Server. During a live program, live captions are inserted via ETX live inserter. At the same time, Etere ETX time delay enables delayed playback of subtitles according to the dynamic requirements of the program, thus ensuring that the subtitles are always in sync with the video. Operators can insert live subtitles to the CC Server through:
■Re-speaking using Microsoft, Dragon technology, or Google Speech-to-Text technology
■Typing or importing from file
■Etere MOS connector connects to the NRCS system to receive teleprompter content
■FTP connection to NRCS
Live captioning GUI features a user-friendly interface, with functional areas including:
■ The left panel displays the subtitles sent to the Closed Captioned (CC) Server in asset forms
■ The middle panel displays the pre-prepared subtitles imported from a text file or rundown. Operators can select any files to send subtitles to the CC server instantly
