In SeaChange booth, we will show all Etere solutions but the most important are: ETERE Media Asset Management, ETERE Transcoder and low-res Browsing. With Media Asset Management is possible to create virtual play-list by using video chucks in both BMC and BML. ETERE MaM is an extension of ETERE Automation dedicated to asset management. It offers a unique environment for a station that takes care of any media management problem. ETERE MAM is an end-to-end product to manage any type of digital media and the real time delivery of content on multiple platforms.

It is a unique Media Asset Management System (MaM) that manages, ingests, manipulates and trades the contents of digital archives, plus it also takes care of transmission and archiving. Based on proven database platforms and a stable and secure system architecture, ETERE MAM can be scaled to any level, from small in-house asset management systems, to globally distributed sites with the ability to trade, track and ingest new assets. ETERE MAM was born with all the experience of ETERE Automation already inside of it, so it uses the distributed architecture for the maximum fault resilience, it can communicate with any device by using any interface and it is used by more the 400 station worldwide. It is not simply a MAM, it is “the MAM of the station” and it includes information for news, automation, videotape management. ETERE Transcoder converts automatically Video files and it’s also able to produce browsing quality copies of the video.

Frame accuracy is guaranteed all the way from source to destination files. It is fundamental for all broadcasters, because this way they can have a low resolution system that costs much less than “classic” ones.

With the integrated browsing, you can preview the video and approve it in a complete tapeless workflow. Also you can simple cut editing for functions like censorship o commercial insertion. While preparing the schedule, you can view the video directly on your monitor.

Etere Browsing is able to do J&S, audio scrub and logo/subtitle preview.
