This paper is aimed to describe the solution that will enable ABS-CBN to streamline the flow between its regional stations, this, thanks to the implementation of a tapeless archive system. Etere’s file-based workflow technology will provide ABS-CBN with an efficient media management system able to allow the company to take a step forward towards a fully digital management of assets that will eliminate the costly and time-consuming need of old tapes.

This paper is aimed to provide operators with the guidelines required to manually switch to the cold standby automation in case a failure occurs in the primary automation.
