EA3244 ETERE CAL Licence26 March 2018
CAL (Client Access Licence) for ETERE system is an essential component to run ETERE.
Flexibility with CAL (Client Access Licence)
Every computer, server or Virtual Machine running a Windows APP needs a CAL (Client Access Licence). The licence is identified by computer not by username and multiple users can access the same PC without additional licences. This flexibility is reflected similarly in servers where each server or Virtual Machine only needs one licence even if you have multiple processes running on the same server.
If your computer needs to be exchanged, for any reason, you can move the CAL licence of the old computer to the new one. A new computer can be connected for up to 3 days without a valid licence to allow testing to be done.
Access to ETERE via Browser does not need a CAL licence.
