ETERE CAL Licence14 April 2016
CAL (Client Access Licence) for ETERE system is an essential component to run ETERE.
Flexibility with CAL ( Client Access Licence)
Every windows client connected to the system needs a CAL (Client Access Licence). The licence is identified by computer not by username and multiple users can access the same PC without additional licences. This flexibility is reflected similarly in servers where each server only needs one licence even if you have multiple processes running on the same server.
If your computer needs to be exchanged, for any reason , you can ask support to change the licence of the old computer with the licence of new one.The change is at no additional charge and requires a valid support contract. A new computer can be connected for 3 days without a valid licence to allow testing to be done. If you are using a VM, each VM needs a different licence.
Access to ETERE via Browser does not need a CAL licence.
