The Limitation of Ross IP Interface
Ross MC1 now supports IP control besides Rs422. However, the system has a limitation of running only one connection at any point of time. This limitation makes it unsuitable for use with a Main and Clone Automation system.
An Alternative Solution
The IP interface of Ross is compatible with a main BKP system. Etere recommends its customers to use and design a Rs422 control for their Main and Clone Automation system as well as to use the IP with no redundancy and main Backup. This is an alternative solution until Ross releases an upgrade that enables a full IP control connection.
