With NDI integration, Nunzio Newsroom software delivers and receives unlimited broadcast quality video streams with low latency and frame accuracy. Setting up a live newsroom production for unlimited streams is easy and cost-efficient. Newstek NDI is a royalty-free standard that allows multiple video systems to identify and communicate with one another over IP. It encodes, transmits and receive multiple streams of high quality, low latency, frame-accurate video and audio in real-time. Etere is compatible with Newtek NDI technology since 2014 when it rolled out support for the IT-based Etere ETX Channel-in-a-box system.
Etere NDI Nunzio Newsroom enables the use of virtual machines to manage the complete newsroom workflow. Etere NDI Newsroom offers different technologies for archiving including Linear Tape-Open (LTO) archive and disk archiving using sleeping disks. Etere HSM is a software tool that allows users to choose the hardware that best fits their needs. It manages all archives in a single integrated environment and supports a mix of file systems. The integrated software interface provides information about the archives located on-site and across multi-location setups. Etere HSM is able to produce high and low resolution copies as well as Master and TX copies for archive.
Etere Multichannel Recorder Player is an ingest player that manages live ingest and simple preview of up to 6 channels on a single platform. It integrates a loudness control panel that is able to detect loudness issues such as auto-jumps between programs and commercials automatically. Additionally, you are able to insert metadata information including code and title before ingestion or recording.
