Etere ETX is the most advanced, tightly integrated, and cost-efficient video management system based on IT technology. It is 4K ready and has a complete channel in a box with full IP/NDI/SDI (in and out) for multiple frame rates. It can drive the most popular HD/SD digital video/audio/graphics platforms without using middle-ware/proprietary hardware.

ETX is a fully digital ingest/playout engine that provides professional video technology with support for all major essences and wrappers in the broadcast industry. It is capable of SDI output and multiple layers of graphics. Additionally, HEVC/ H.265 encoding is also available on Etere ETX. With ETX inserter, operators can create closed captions, including CEA 608 and CEA 708. In addition, ETX is capable of live subtitling with the ETX inserter and time delay. ETX can also integrate with a countdown timer that displays the time remaining until the next program.

As part of the Etere Ecosystem framework, Etere ETX features a distributed architecture with the capability to create a high-performance digital media solution to capture/playout servers, NLE systems, graphics/production servers, automation, and master control units. To receive an NDI source stream, use the live source object and initialize the "NDI Receiver" device like any other capture card. The distribution of contents from the different ETX engines is controlled by Etere Media Management, the application that delivers the correct video to the correct place at the correct time. In addition, Etere ETX video file transfer capability is one of the fastest in the market.

Etere ETX can simultaneously manage various different ingest/playout channels, making it a versatile multichannel solution capable of video acquisition, real-time compression, and network transmission with full support for different video codecs between channels. In addition, Etere ETX can be integrated with master control, enabling a multi-functioning integrated solution within a simple PC. With ETX, you will need only one server to play out, switch, fade, dissolve, insert the logo and perform CG functions. For customers who already use ETX, implementing an IT-based playout enhanced with master control functionalities will consist of a simple software upgrade based on an add-on license; extra hardware is NOT needed.

Connectivity with Etere Scheduling for broadcast schedule publication ensures a seamless workflow delivery from IT playout to automation and broadcast schedule. For greater versatility, operators can capture HD/SD video from either scheduled or manual content feeds. Etere Automation status panel provides an intuitive look and feel for increased operational efficiency in fast-paced operations. Operators can also control automation remotely via the remote control panel.
