19 January 2011TV Vanguarda, a Regional TV based in São José dos Campos, has chosen Etere to manage the News playout of its channel.
TV Vanguarda has chosen Etere and its Brazilian partner Brasvideo to manage the News playout. A distributed Etere system has been deployed to provide TV Vangiarda with a full-caching environment. Tv Vanguarda has been established in 1988 in Sao Jose dos Campos, the first station truly dedicated to the region. As an affiliate of Rede Globo, it brings to its viewers the best of Brazilian television and, at the same time, it has its own programs. Tv Vanguarda airs daily four news programs with local news and produces several weekly programs. Tv Vanguarda is using Etere to prepare news rundown with the powerful tools of Executive Editor. The overall playout system include also the Clone automation ables to replace the Main Automation in case of failure.

The four daily news transmitted by TV Vanguarda are prepared by using Etere Executive Editor, the module that permits programming with frame-accuracy all those assets intended to be aired, while offering a comprehensive management of secondary events. Thanks to the Etere Executive Editor's powerfull functions and user-friendly interface,it allows to easily manage and edit sophisticated rundowns, It also allows last minute changes few seconds before ON-AIR transmission.
Etere Control Panel ET0557-B is the ideal remote panel for operators due to its ergonomic, easy-to-use and quality buttons, characteristics that results into a reliable feedback from the operator broadcast. 2 ET0557-B are been supplied to TV Vanguarda allowing to send commands to Etere Automation automations under a user-friendly and fully-customizable interface.
The Etere ET0557-B can remote control up to 12 automations at the same time, it is built with two serial connectors with their respective status lights to guarantee redundancy to the device.
